First-ever FREMO-Italia N scale group meeting. During this testing day we
checked out the gathered modules, the electric and mechanical connections,
and we made the inaugural operating session.
DCC feeding system (Lenz set 90) enabled us to set up an XpressNet web and
to plug in the handheld throttles (Lenz + Lokmaus2) in the nearest socket
while following the trains.
The rolling stock consisted of borrowed items, by no means appropriate, but
our operating session went along flawless thanks to their high reliability.
We tested positively Micro Trains couplers too, so we made the decision to
fit them to our future dedicated rolling stock.
The meeting took place into Andrea Barella's house, one of the FREMO-Italia
founders, which we'd like to thank.
